My 2ne1 experience at MAMA 2011 I wouldn’t deny the fact that I’m a big Dara fan and I love 2ne1 to the core. This is not the first time I saw them though. The first time I saw them was during the Korean Music Wave held here in Singapore last July. It was one of the most heart pounding, fun and energy filled performance I’ve ever seen. The difference between the KMW 2011 and the MAMA 2011 red carpet was the interaction, MAMA 2011 FELT LIKE CLOSER TO THE GIRLS. Me and a filipino friend who happened to be an elf but a big Dara fan went to the SG Indoor Stadium as early as 6AM. The red carpet starts at 4PM and we braved queueing for 10 hours just for me to see 2ne1upclose and my friend to see SUJU. While waiting for the guards to let us in to the red carpet area, we decided to use whatever we have on our bags to make the above Dara sign :) After 10 long hours of waiting, we were finally allowed to get in to the red carpet area. Sad to say, everyone was already in front and there’s no more space left for us. Being the resourceful fan who would do anything to see their idols, we stepped back and sat on the barricades to see a clearer view of the stage. hahah! We were having fun displaying our Dara sign and Blackjacks cant keep their eyes off of our DARA MAHAL KITA sign! Other Blackjacks were also there waving CORN, it was so epic! :) Then a van stopped. I knew it the moment i saw a hair coming out the van that it was Dara and 2ne1! God i cheered for my girls like i had an extra lungs with me. They’re all so pretty, fierce and hot! My friend and I shouted DARA MAHAL KITA! Then Dara peeked at our side, waved and smile…my heart fell that instant and it was so surreal! CL had her back on us, I really wanted to see her so I started calling out her name as loud as I can, I only shouted CL’s name twice and she slowly turns and smile at us I almost fell off the barricade where i was sitting :)) Minzy didn’t also fail to grace us with her cute shy smile. She was also pretty and seeing her up close made me realise that the baby of the group has now grown into a beautiful lady. Bom was her usual self. She’s so pretty I would compare her into a living doll and deym those killer legs! O.O It was just a brief moment with 2ne1 but it felt like an hour for me. I didn’t even realise I was crying out of sheer happiness not until 2ne1 left and I was left there spazzing :) It was not an easy day for me but I would still say IT WAS ALL WORTH IT! I would love to do it again for 2ne1 if another opportunity to see them again comes. Now I can say that this is by far the best fan girling I did for this year :) CONGRATS AGAIN 2NE1 FOR WINNING 2 AWARDS AND FOR BLOWING THE STAGE OFF DUE TO YOUR PERFORMANCE! I AM A PROUD BLACKJACK/DARALING!
